Schools Ministry

For the past 9 years, the church have been serving Fraserburgh Academy by taking their Religious Assemblies. Ps Ben Ritchie heads up the team, visiting the school several times during the academic year.

The team are now regularly invited to take assemblies and classes in several schools including Fraserburgh Academy, Peterhead Academy, Mintlaw Academy, Banff Academy, Turriff Academy, The Gordon Schools - Huntly, Old Meldrum High School and Ellon Academy.

Please pray for the team as they chat to the students about moral and spiritual issues.

Connect Groups

Connecting with people is a huge part of AOG Central, we meet in various groups across Fraserburgh, Mintlaw and Aberdeen. Everyone can get involved, including you just contact Pastor Ben for more information! Times and groups are in the 'What's on' section of the website.

Solid Rock Cafe

The Cafe came into existence back in 1996. Breaking down denominational barriers, seven churches united together to transform a disused building into a fully functional outreach cafe, bridging the gap between the community and the church. Today the Solid Rock is more than just a cafe. Now affiliated with Teen Challenge UK, the Solid Rock has helped open a drug rehabilitation for men (Sunnybrae) and a brand new women's centre (Benaiah) in 2009.

The cafe now has one full-time and several part-time support workers who are regularly meeting with and helping individuals with life-controlling addictions through one-2-one appointments, support groups, social activities and the Teen Challenge Bus Ministry.

Short Term Missions

The church runs multiple short term mission trips to various countries every year. These have included Sefton Village - Phillipines, Ghana, Watoto Village - Uganda, Rotherham - England, the Holy Land - Israel, Los Angeles - U.S.A, Argentina and many more.

For more information on this year's Short Term Mission trips, please get in touch with Ps. Steve or Ps. Ben.

Hospital Singing Group

We are on a voluntary rota to visit Fraserburgh Hospital and Faithlie Home Nursing Home and minister to the residents in song. We are always looking for new volunteers, so if you are available and need further information, please see Victor Urquhart.
